Even MORE Snow

We received 18.5 inches of snow Sunday and Monday. I would like to say that I am officially ready for spring. We had a taste of spring last week and it was heavenly! While I do enjoy the first couple snow falls I am ready to enjoy the green grass again. Plus we are running out of places to put the snow. It is a good thing that I have such a cute little helper who loves playing in the snow. I can appreciate it through his eyes.

Henry has made the big switch to using a big boy cup. No more sippy cups for this guy, they are so last week. (Although in a pinch he will still use them.) He does a really good job using them without spilling... well most of the time. It is crazy how fast this little guy is growing up. It is fun to see all of these new milestones.

A New Cousin!

We can not wait to meet you!

Henry is very excited to have a little boy cousin on that side of the family. Finally someone else to play cars with! (Although his girl cousins are really good about playing with him!) We have been talking about Isaac all day and when we say his name Henry immediately says "Baby" and goes "ohhhh".

So Sweet Baby Isaac we are so happy you are part of our family!

Henry David Zebra

Henry got this super cool police car a couple of weeks ago when we where at a friends house for a play date. She has two older brothers who did not play with it anymore. When we were leaving her mom asked Henry and his buddy if they wanted to each take one home. Henry took the police car and his buddy took a firetruck. Lets just say they were two VERY happy boys. On the drive home it sounded as though I was being chased by a entire department of police cars. This car has the most realistic sound effects and it even has flashing lights. One button that we did not discover until we got home says the funniest thing ever. "5864.... HENRY DAVID ZEBRA.... No Arrests, No Warrants." This is Henry's face every time he hears his name. Jason and I were pretty much crying laughing. Henry is a pretty big fan of his police car and I hear the sirens and talking off and on all day long. Yesterday a certain two year old was attempting to climb over the back of the couch. I used my best mom voice and what came out was "Henry David." The good news is he stopped. The bad news is that I called our son the wrong name.

Wordless Wednesday- Super Fast

Super Bowl Cupcakes!

Grandma Susie and John came and brought some yummy cupcakes with them for the Super Bowl! At first Henry very carefully ate all the sprinkles off the plate.
Then he felt brave enough to take a bite!

Whoa... That was GOOD!

It quickly turned into all business in how to get the cupcake in there as fast as he could.

Chopsticks

We picked up these cute little learner chopsticks while we were in Korea. While Henry's hand is still a little too small to be able to use them he absolutely LOVED them. He tried so hard to be able to use them on his own but just could not quite make it work. It was pretty funny when mommy used them to feed him though!

Happy Lunar New Year!

2011 is the year of the rabbit.

We are excited to see what this new year will bring for our family.

We celebrated last night with mandoo and sticky rice. (Thanks Jen for the rice!!)

We are looking forward to having a bigger celebration this weekend with some friends.
