Soup Girl

This girl LOVES SOUP.  Soup is by far her FAVORITE food. She is crazy good at eating it without spilling a drop.

Sledding and Skating

On the few warm days we have had we have headed to the sledding hill.  It is huge and you literally fly down it.  Both kids of course love it! Thankfully there is a smaller side that they can go down by themselves too.

Gift Wrapper

Henry is something of a professional gift wrapper.  He uses his mad skills this Christmas to wrap some gifts he picked out for Claire.  This was her Princess Sofia DVD.  I don't think she noticed it was missing for two weeks but she was so excited to open in and Henry was very proud to pick out his own gift for her and wrap it.  

Bowling

We went bowling this morning and both kids had so much fun! They both beat my score so that tells you what kind of game I had.  It was a fun way to get out of the cold and burn some energy off!

Big Girl Bed

Claire is finally not the only three year old sleeping in a crib! She seriously loved her crib and did such a good job sleeping in it that we kept putting off taking it down and getting the toddler bed out.  We are officially crib free in this house and it feels pretty good! I may have been a tiny bit sad seeing it in pieces but it was time.  We waited so long to put her in a toddler bed that I am sure in a couple of months you will see her in a twin bed!

Melissa and Richards Wedding

January 4th my sister Melissa got married and we all had a lovely time and managed to not get a single family picture! It was a crazy busy day and so much fun!

 

This was Henry's reaction to The Moves Like Jager. He came running over yelling "It's my song!!! It's my song!!!"

Thankful for time with Grandparents

My Grandpa Winston has esophageal cancer and has been walking down a hard road fighting it.  He is already a cancer survivor and is giving this his best fight but there is not a lot that can be done.  This Christmas I feel so glad that we were all able to be together as a family and all able to spend time together.  Henry and Claire love them so much.

Brrr.... Ssslllledddding

This has seriously been the coldest winter ever.  We still went out sledding while we were up north celebrating Christmas and had so much fun!! We would do a run our two and then warm up by the fire.  A fun new tradition!
