Corn Fun Day

Last weekend we went out to our friends farm to help freeze corn. The kids had so much fun.  Claire spent the time "helping" and bossing the chickens around and Henry was on his bike 90% of the time we were there.  We froze 75 bags of corn! Yummy!!

State Fair!

For Claire's birthday we spent the day at the State Fair! We had so much fun! It was the perfect day with sunshine, no humidity and time spent together as a family.  We did rides, ate yummy food and Henry and Claire got to be little farmers.

County Fair

The kids and I went with Grandma Susie to the county fair.  They sat on every tractor and visited every barn.  We even had some mini dounuts!! A good time was had by all!

Henry's First Triathlon

Saturday morning Henry competed in his first triathlon. He and his friend Bailey competed together and did such a great job, I am so proud of both of them. They started with a 25 meter swim (no deep end), .7 mile bike ride and a 1/3 mile run. They both had fun and also challenged themselves. Henry was kind of nervous at the start but once he got on his bike he got in the zone and had so much fun. He may gotten a little of course and distracted during the run but a volunteer quickly got him back on track. He is very excited to do it again next year!
