Care Package #9
This will HOPEFULLY be the LAST care package!!! I have done two other "last" care packages but I really do think this is the last one. It had been sitting half finished for about a month because I think I was just scared to finish it and then find out I have time for one more. A big THANK YOU goes out to a very special friend who gave me the motivation and the cute little star to get this show on the road. The star is so cute and it has Jason, Henry and I singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on it. It was quite comical to record but after the 10th try we all remembered our parts and sang kind of on key. Jason and I were laughing so hard because poor Claire has to listen to us singing but then again she is going to have to listen to us live very soon so she might as well get used to all of our off key awesomeness! Henry has a sassy little friend who just turned two and is all about jewelery, stick-on earrings and nail polish so I thought Claire might enjoy some fanciness too. Buying jewelery for a almost 2 year old is harder than it sounds, three stores later I found some cute little bracelets that are not beads and would be safe. Henry and I are going to drop this off tomorrow and hope it makes its way to our sweet girl soon!

Remembering Grandpa Dennis
This year the Mighty Mighty Bike Team was the Mighty Mighty Bowling Team. While our annual bike ride to remember Jason's dad was rained out we still had a great day spent with family. It is hard to believe that it has already been six years since Jason's dad passed away.
| Now if only Henry's socks could be hiked up as high as Jason's. |
After bowling we went to the animal sanctuary and it was so fun to see all of the babies.

Claire- 21 Month Update
Hooray for updates!! This mama needed to see that sweet smile this month! It is crazy to see how curly her hair is! So sweet! She is wearing a shirt that we sent in this care package way back in September/October. It pretty much confirms my theory that I have been sending clothes that were way to big. She is rocking out in 18 month clothes and it looks as though they fit perfectly. Thankfully I have corrected my sizing and the last couple should be fitting well. Claire is 22.9 pounds and 33.1 inches long at 21 months.
Sweet Little Claire we just want you to come home.

Playdate with Nash!
Today we got to meet our new little buddy Nash!!! We were so excited to meet this little guy and play with him! He is a month older than Claire and is just the cutest little thing! I am quite sure that he and Claire will instantly become s(e)oul mates! Henry and Nash did a great job playing together and it was so cool to see them actually playing TOGETHER!! A lot of times there is parallel play at these ages but they were so cute together and it was very sweet. On the way home Henry told me "Nash is my good friend, just like Alex." That just tells you how cool Nash is, he pretty much skyrocketed up to Alex level! Despite the super thrilled expressions on their faces these two really did have a good time. I just can't wait until Miss C can join them!

Last Day of School
Today was Henry's last day of ECFE. It is amazing to see how far he has come from the first day of school. He is now a confident little boy who loves school and is ready to go to preschool. I am so thankful that we had this time together and that Henry was able to learn that mom always comes back.
| Henry loves getting to school a couple minutes early to play in the sandbox. |

Hunter turns 6!
My nephew Hunter turned 6 on Saturday and he had a army birthday party to celebrate!
It is crazy to think that he is 6 already! We had a great time at the party and Henry thought the basic training was pretty much hysterical. Lets just say I don't think Henry and Brody would make it out of boot camp.

Mothers Day
I am blessed.
Henry you bring laughter and excitement to each and every day. You amaze me with your creativity and eye for new adventures. (ie: trying to ride a trike down a slide) You have a kind heart and soul and I treasure that. You bring so much joy to so many people. You have taught me to live life to the fullest!
Claire you bring me hope. Although my arms ache to hold you and my heart has a little hole in it, waiting to hold you and kiss your sweet cheeks you has taught me patience. I know I can get through anything life brings our way. Waiting for you and your brother have made me into to the strong person I am today.

1st Trip to the Dentist
Henry had his first trip to the Dentist on Monday and it was a smashing success! Except for the part where he was supposed to look at the camera. Tip take the picture before you give the prize bag. Happy to report that there were no cavities and his teeth looked great! I was a bit worried about the fact that Henry used his pacifier until 2.5 but he said there was no damage and he could not tell that he had used one

Buddies
Weston and Alex were over this week for a couple hours and we had a great time. Weston LOVES watching the big boys and they LOVE him! Henry loves to help feed Weston and is so proud to help out.
I am not sure when these two got so grown up. They are quite the dynamic duo and this summer they are going to keep us on our toes. If you hear lots of giggling it means you need to check and see just what they are into!

A Better Day
Today was a better day. I am even using upper and lower case letters! I know we can make it and I know it is worth the wait. Some days are just hard. A fellow waiting mama said "we will press on" and we will. Thank you for all the support and love.
